PE Protective Pipes

Small diameter PE pipes are intended for protection of the existing or new cable system, for laying directly into the ground. They are designed predominantly for inserting telecommunication cables with fibre optics, for coaxial and optical N cables, and other utility networks.

PE Protective Pipes

Double

2x50/3.7mm pipes are measured according  to the external diameter. The external surface is smooth, internal is grooved.
2x50/3.7mm pipes are connected with a stiff bond and are designed to be laid directly into the ground.

The pipes are available  in coils of 300m or wound on metal drums of 700-800m.

Triple

3x50/3.7mm pipes are measured according  to the external diameter. The external surface is smooth, internal is grooved.
3x50/3.7mm pipes are connected with a stiff bond and are designed to be laid directly into the ground.

Pipe markings

The pipes are labelled with the following information:

  • product standard
  • manufacturer's identification
  • dimensions - DN x wall thickness • telephone character •
  •  mark of running meter
  • production date and line

The intended function is marked with coextruded horizontalcolour lines:

  • protection for telecommunication cables - orange RAL 2004
  • pipes for cable distribution systems - green RAL 6017
  • protection for power supply cables - red RAL3020

All the pipes can be subjected to a short·term internal pressure load of 8 bar. Upon request the pipes can be manufactured in other colours and series.

PVC pipes enable simple and quick insertion of cables and offer excellent protection against mechanical and other harmful influences of the elements.

Advantages of PVC TK and EL pipes:

  • simple and quick joining
  • low weight per unit of length
  • ideally smooth inner surface
  • simple and economical transport and installation

The pipes are manufactured in accordance with the DIN 8062 standard or with currently valid regulations and standards.
